🌱 The Funniest Questions We’ve Been Asked by New Home Growers (Yes… These Are Real)

Growing your first plant can feel intimidating — but trust us, every grower starts with the same questions, the same fears, and the same “am I really supposed to do that?” moments.

So for today’s Fun Friday, we’re keeping it light and sharing some of the funniest (and most wholesome) questions we’ve been asked at CloneToHome.

If you’ve ever wondered if your plant can hear you, or if clones need seatbelts… you’re not alone. 🌱😂

😂 1. “Do clones get upset if I shake the box too much?”

Short answer:
No.

Long answer:
They’ve survived shipping across the entire country, temperature changes, trucks, conveyor belts, and possibly a USPS driver who took your package on lunch break.

They’re tougher than you think.

😂 2. “Should I talk to them so they know they’re safe?”

Absolutely.
Tell them your hopes, dreams, trauma, grocery list — they love it.

Plants respond to CO₂…
So if you trauma dump, at least it’s scientifically beneficial.

😂 3. “My clone looks droopy. Is it sad?”

It’s just adjusting to its new home.

But also maybe yes.
Maybe it misses the other clones it sat next to in the box.
We’ll never know.

😂 4. “Can I train my plant to grow faster if I play hype music?”

We can neither confirm nor deny that Purpburst grows a little faster to Future.
Super Boof is definitely a LaRussel fan though.

😂 5. “Do clones know when it’s payday?”

They do.

They perk up.
Leaves get shinier.
It’s science.

😂 6. “My plant leans toward the window. Is it trying to escape?”

It’s not trying to leave you.

It just likes free sunlight.

100% yes.
